General Course Info:
Yes, you often will have homework - roughly 20 minutes of information review and note-taking - this is to be done the night before class. Then you arrive to class with a good idea of what we're doing, so we can reinforce the information and do more activities.
The history and citizenship education program has two goals:
At the core of the program is the acquisition of knowledge through the development of the subject specific competencies: examines from a historical perspective, interprets using the historical perspective and strengthens the exercise of citizenship through the study of history.
We will examine the content from grade nine - First Occupants to 1840 AD
Mark Breakdown:
Tests/Quizzes = 50%
Video Notes/Homework = 10%
Assignments = 40%
Assignments MUST have the following information or grades will be taken off:
